The end of UNIT13

The doors were closed after the Halloween weekend, nearly 3 years it has served us. A number of factors led to the closure, mostly because it did the job it was supposed to do. Give users a place to go while the new outdoor park was being sorted. Also to prove to the council that there is a need for skateparks in Belfast. We would have liked to continue keeping this open but funding was not available to us, and footfall on the door of the park was not enough to pay for the rent and insurance.

But B.U.S/UNIT13 would like to thank everyone who skated there over the years and supported it as best they could.
